Summer in winter
It's hard to get in the "xmas spirit" when you're so used to the jolly, snowy, red & green image of the holiday (as fabricated by Coca-Cola).
Well, in Australia Father Christmas is wearing a bikini poolside.

Geography lesson:
Australia looks like a prancing hamster...
...when you look at it upside down
...and squint your eyes
...and use your child-like imagination.

I must be a silly American, because I thought the second you land in Australia you see kangaroos hopping around. Not exactly. Drove three hours north to Bright and I found these roos. They are basically timid tripods with t-rex arms. And I love them all.
