Puff pastry (Trader Joe's) comes in frozen flat sheets. It's easy to work with, has that perfect flakey texture, and even tastes great alone. Here's some tips on how to use it for quickie appetizers. (My college roommate used to wrap gouda slices in Pillsbury crescent rolls, delish! Although, because I'm not a fan of working with tubed doughs I haven't been able to reproduce these treats. But now, thanks to Puff, I can relive these college cheese bites!)
